Acceptable Use & Identity Safety Policy

Use Bonclay creatively and honestly. Respect the people whose faces, voices, and performances appear in your content, and never use transformations to deceive or harm.

Examples of legitimate uses include:

• Transforming yourself into characters, personas, or looks.
• Working with licensed talent who have consented to the use of their likeness.
• Creating and using fictional characters.
• Parody and satire where lawful and not misleading about what is real.
• Creative, entertainment, and advertising work with the appropriate rights and any required disclosures.

You may not use Bonclay to create, upload, or distribute content involving:

• Impersonation intended to deceive or defraud.
• Identity theft.
• Scams, phishing, or social engineering.
• Non-consensual intimate or sexual content of any person.
• Any sexual content involving minors, or the sexual exploitation of minors. This is reported to authorities where required.
• Harassment, threats, bullying, or intimidation.
• Defamatory or otherwise unlawful content.
• Deceptive impersonation of political figures, candidates, officials, or public-interest events.
• Deceptively manipulating evidence, news, or official records.
• Infringement of intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Malicious biometric or identity abuse, including bypassing identity verification systems.
• Attempts to evade, disable, or test our safeguards or moderation.

You must have the rights to your source material and, where required by law, the consent of any identifiable person whose likeness, voice, or performance you use or transform into.

Where laws, platforms, or the context require it, clearly disclose that content is AI-generated or altered, especially in advertising and anything that could be mistaken for real footage.

We may review content, remove outputs, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement when we believe this policy has been violated. Credits are not refunded for content removed due to violations.
